Virgin Coconut Oil
Virgin coconut oil is obtained from the milk of the fresh coconut is not processed any further. All the goodness of the coconut remains in the oil. This extremely pure product is full of natural anti-oxidants and also has antibacterial qualities. Virgin coconut oil is one of the most nutritious and gentle products available for skin care, making it an excellent choice for cosmetic applications but particularly for products that are for use on children or individuals with sensitive skin. Coconut oil is a stable oil and doesn’t spoil quickly – it also has a stabilising effect on other oils that it is in combination with thereby prolonging the shelf life of 100% natural products.
Jojoba (ho-ho-ba) oil is a great addition to any all natural blend of carrier oils because it is very stable and doesn’t break down and go rancid as easily or quicky as some other oils. Moreover it lends its stability to the other ingredients thereby prolonging the shelf life of the whole product.

Macadamia oil is produced in Australia amongst other places. It is cold pressed from macadamia nuts. Macadamia nuts have the highest fat content of all the nuts. It is a very stable oil and has a shelf life of up to 2 years. Macadamia oil is a superb choice for any massage blend due to its nourishing and enriching qualities. It is absorbed incredibly well because it is closely aligned with sebum, the natural oil secreted by our own skin.
Soy Bean Oil
Soybean oil is one of the new popular kids on the block as a massage base. It is wonderfully light, but nutritious for skin.
The humble soybean is packed with vitamins and minerals that your skin loves to slurp up! It boasts a high content of the natural vitamins E, A and D, and is also rich in an impressive range of fatty acids.
When applied to your skin soybean oil is light and easily absorbed and leaves your skin feeling deliciously smooth, which makes for luscious body products that you can use any time without worrying about oil on your clothes, or feeling sticky.
Shea Nut Oil
Shea nut oil is super thick, very rich and luxurious and the perfect addition when you want to a experience a delicious silky skin feel in your product. Like other carrier oils shea nut oil is full of vitamins and minerals that your skin needs in order to remain healthy and glowing.
Shea nut oil is a by product of the production of shea butter. It has many of the same properties but is heaps easier to use. Unlike shea butter it is liquid at room temperature and therefore far easier to work with. It is NOT easily absorbed when used alone, but in combination and balance with other oils that changes and its a really lush oil to be using.
